Wedding Liz & Liland — Villefranche-sur-Mer
Liz and Leland, a festive couple from Miami, chose Domaine du Mont Leuze in Villefranche sur Mer for their wedding, a unique estate perched high above the coast with an incomparable view over the Mediterranean, stretching from Saint Jean Cap Ferrat to Villefranche and Nice. Over three days, they found the perfect balance between elegance and celebration.
The weekend began with a relaxed beach party welcome, guests greeted with an instant engraving station, each person leaving with a personal, handmade keepsake as their welcome gift.
The wedding day took place at the domaine, with a secular ceremony overlooking the sea, officiated by a close friend of the couple, vows exchanged against a truly stunning backdrop. Bridesmaids wore matching gowns in a warm ochre gold, and the dress code called for elegant black tie. The cocktail hour continued with that same sea view, opened with a wall of spritz for arriving guests and carried by a saxophonist who quickly turned the moment into an all out dance party, drinks flowing at the open bar as everyone joined in.
Guests found their seats through a personal touch: place cards took the form of handwritten envelopes, each one containing a note from the couple to that guest, a moment that left more than a few people teary eyed. Dinner was served on the estate’s grand terrace, fittingly nicknamed the terrace of the world for its view, dressed entirely in white with flowers spilling across the tables, immaculate and romantic. As night fell, DJ Wildfire took over, opening the dance floor with a champagne fountain and keeping the party going under the stars, flowers in abundance all around.
The weekend wound down with a poolside brunch the next day, a relaxed close in soft yellow and white tones, the perfect way to recover from a night everyone will remember.
