Wedding Dominique & Benjamin — Domaine du Grand Lauron
Dominique and Benjamin call Amsterdam home, but for their wedding, only the South of France would do. The Canadian couple, warm, easygoing and utterly in love, brought 70 of their closest friends and family to Domaine du Grand Lauron, a bucolic estate tucked away with its own lake, weeping willows and that unmistakable Provençal charm, for a weekend none of them will forget.
It all began with a welcome party that set the tone for the whole weekend: an elegant pizza night, relaxed and full of laughter, the perfect way to bring everyone together before the big day.
On the wedding day itself, Dominique and Benjamin shared a first look in the estate’s gardens, quiet and emotional, just the two of them before the celebration took over.
The ceremony followed: a secular ceremony brimming with authenticity and love, set against a spring inspired décor bursting with colorful blooms. The dress code followed suit, with bridesmaids in a joyful mix and match of spring hues and guests dressed to match the season’s palette.
As the sun went down, the celebration moved into the Bastide’s courtyard for a dinner under the stars, string lights overhead, candlelight on the tables, and that effortless Mediterranean elegance running through every detail. A great DJ kept the dance floor full late into the night.
The weekend wound down the way it started, together and unhurried. A poolside brunch the next morning brought a fresh burst of yellow and white, lemons scattered across the tables, sunshine on everyone’s faces, the perfect Mediterranean farewell to an intimate, joy filled celebration.
